The Doll's House

The story is about a young wife who thinks her life is a perfect one until she finds out her husband's affair. There are not many characters in this novel, but all of them have a really unique personality. The story-line is very simple so I could understand smoothly. There are also some other short stories, but I skipped them because I didn’t have enough time to read.
The author is Katherine Mansfield. She is a one of greatest New Zealander woman novelists. Mrs. Mansfield died so young, but she had left many masterpieces to us. She was good at psychological description and used to write stories which about trouble between families, lovers, and friends. In Fukushima prefecture, Japan, there is a memorial hall called “キャサリン・マンスフィールド記念館”. The hall was build by a Japanese writer who adores her and her novels. If you gain a chance to visit Fukushima, it’s good to be there.

Katherine Mansfield's short story "The Doll's House" tells of the Brunell children being given a wonderful doll's house and of the subsequent visiting of this by their school mates. The story is a wonderful commentary on the class system that existed in New Zealand at the beginning of the 20th century and it looks forward to this changing to a more equal society.
The review writer needs to revisit Mansfield's superb stories I think.
the doll's house is a novelllllll by katherine mansfield... shocked.. and it tells us about a husband's affairrrrr.... shocked.. how can u write a review without even reading the work.
katherine mansfield never wrote a novel. she wrote short stories, poems, journals and letters. the doll's house is a short story about a doll's house owned by some girls.
