Book review 1-4

"Oliver Twist"
Written by Charles Dickens

The boy, who named Oliver Twist has never seen his families at all. Since he can remember, he was grown with other children with a minimum foods and ragged cloths in an old orphan home. One cold day, Oliver's companies suggested him to ask some more soup. As Oliver did it, the master, who runs the orphan home got very mad and decided to send him away to an undertaker's house. The undertaker was treating Oliver very friendly, but the wife disliked him. She didn't give Oliver a good place to sleep, and even hit him hardly sometimes. Oliver, the poor boy, was pessimistic about his life at the time. Some days later, Oliver had started to thinking about get away from the undertaker’s house. Soon, he had run to London to find a new, better life.
I read this novel because it is a famous one. It is kind of masterpiece. There are also some movies which based on this story. The newest one was made in last year. It was filmed by Roman Polanski who had filmed “The Pianist” also. Polanski is one of greatest director ever, but his own life is pretty hard one as Oliver. About forty years ago, his wife was killed by Charles Manson at home. Sharon Tate, the wife, was pregnant. That means Polanski lost his only child too. And ten years later, Polanski was arrested because of his illegal sexual intercourse. According to police’s announcement, Polanski was in bed with a minor aged girl at Jack Nicholson’s house. Soon he escaped from America to avoid the imprisonment and never comes back again.
If you are interested in Roman Polanski and his works, you should check the movie trailers first. Here’s one which I've found for you:
